Girls ages 5 – 17 discover the fun, friendship and power of girls together while developing values, character and life skills.
Provides services to youth and adults in 22 counties of North Alabama; seeks to instill character, values, and leadership in youth ages 6-20.
Provides primary health care to uninsured and insured persons living in rural areas where limited private physicians or other medical resources are available.
Offers direct disaster relief services, blood and blood byproducts, CPR/First Aid/Water Safety Training, and services for military families.
Provides food, clothing, and toys to needy families at Christmas. All applicants are screened and crosschecked with other agencies.
Responds to individuals in crisis. Provides twenty-four hour suicide prevention HELPline, domestic and sexual violence victim services, 211 referral line services.
Provides victim advocacy, forensic interviews, and therapy at no cost to clients and families to reduce trauma of child abuse through prevention, intervention, and treatment.
Recruits, trains and motivates volunteers who minister to physical and social needs of homebound and aging persons, which enables them to remain at home.
Supports and provides services for moderate to severely retarded children and adults. Provides programs to prepare developmentally disabled persons for employment.
Identifying health and human service needs in our community and working with donors, volunteers, and collaborative partners to develop and implement effective strategies and solutions.
Providing mental health counseling, anti-poverty and family self-sufficiency programs, affordable housing, domestic violence intervention, in-school programs, victim’s rights advocacy, and parenting and family strengthening programs.
