As I conclude my first year directing the State Combined Campaign, I’m reflecting on the several times I was incredibly impressed over the last several months. From joining many of you on charity tours and watching your genuine care for the community, to seeing that care translate into passionate engagement with your coworkers.
Witnessing several thousand state employees rally around tremendous causes is inspiring. All that can be said is a heartfelt thank you for making my job easy! It’s been a pleasure campaigning alongside you thus far.
Let’s do it again in August!
Where Are We At?
As we conclude the 2024 campaign, I have received updates from a few coordinators that give me a sneaking suspicion that we will surpass 2023 numbers. Please turn in pledge cards ASAP so that we can return them to payroll QUICKLY!
I am pleased to inform you that the 2024 campaign currently rests at $859,412.30 from 7,796 contributors.
What an amazing feat of generosity you have displayed in giving to make an impact in Alabama communities. You have certainly given for the gold!
