The 2020 State Combined Campaign (SCC) is coming to a close. The Campaign officially end on December 31st, however it is “unofficially” extended through January 2021.
2020 has been a year full of struggles and that has translated to a slower SCC. We want to make sure that everyone can support their favorite charity or cause through the SCC. The SCC is the only way a state employee can support his/her favorite charity/cause through the ease of payroll deduction. You can give as little as $1 per month. Give a gift of lasting impact and get a tax deduction in return. Help keep a family from going hungry, a child from falling behind and a caregiver from burnout – support your favorite charity and secure your 2020 charitable tax deduction – even if you do not itemize!!!
You can also give a gift with cash, check or credit card. Please remember, you will still need to complete a pledge form and send it to the SCC office or to your Statewide Coordinator. You can find your favorite charity/cause via the Campaign Giving Guide or the Online Keyword Search.
The application process for the 2021 SCC opens in January. If your favorite charity is not listed, encourage them to apply. All they need to know can be found here.
If there is anything we can do to help you, please let us know. If you do not know who your statewide coordinator is, please either email Becky Booker or Sharilyn Hamer or call 334-269-4505.
Thank you for your support. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and wishing us all a better New Year!
