Where Are We At?
Keep sharing about the State Combined Campaign with your coworkers! There tends to be a lull that falls over the campaign around this time of year, so it’s important to continue encouraging participation. Remind everyone in your department/division of the opportunity at hand and the many charities that are counting on our support.
Week 7 experienced some slow progress, but I’m confident we can pick it back up this week! The campaign currently stands at $310,270.44 from 2,341 contributors.
There remains a great opportunity to do a little bit of extra fundraising beyond just pledges: the Belk Charity Sale is happening from November 8th-11th at all store locations. Tickets are $5.00 and can be distributed among your co-workers for a donation toward your department’s goal. The tickets earn them $5.00 off during the Charity Sale, as well as access to many other discounts!

This week, we’re highlighting the Boys & Girls Club of the River Region and their mission to provide youth development programs in a safe, caring, and positive environment for children throughout the area. They do an incredible job of cultivating a sense of identity and purpose in the lives of young people.
