We cannot begin to thank everyone who
participated in the 2007 State Combined Campaign. The hard work of
the many coordinators, co-coordinators, and keyworkers has made this
year’s campaign successful on so many fronts.
It was a great pleasure acknowledging all these
folks at the recent Awards Celebration held January 25th at the State
Capitol’s auditorium. Click on “State Agency Spotlight” for the
complete list of those agencies that met or exceeded their goals.
The final figures are:
$866,461 was raised or 123.78% of goal
12,862 state employees or 33.58% gave
Now, the process starts all over. Applications
have been mailed. The deadline to apply for participation in the 2008
SCC is February 29, 2008. The various Local Area Review Committees (LARC)
will meet to screen submitted applications throughout March and
April. So, if you know of any organizations that might benefit from
being part of the Campaign, they are welcomed to call us at
334-269-4505 or click on “Charity Application” and download the forms.
